Winter Colour Pop of Yellow

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been working on a wee project (photography of course) for a local business who is in the process of updating their website.  I’ve been tasked with the job of creating some atmospheric and ‘on the job’ shots of the team.

Finding a day/s when everyone was rostered on and available was pretty tricky, so we ended up doing a few smaller sessions, which was fun.  Then there was the added challenge of getting everybody together for a team group shot, which had to either be during their ‘weekend’ or at the end of the day when all of their clients had gone.

There was one last person that we just kept missing, so it was a nice feeling to get the final shots yesterday.  There also happened to be these cute daffodils on one of the display stands when I was there, adding a POP of colour on a winter’s afternoon.  They were simple but so effective that I just had to photograph them!

Yellow daffodils

So, that is what I am working on tonight – the last images from our final session, along with the start of a pretty fiddly retouching and product photography project, that involves removing a LOT of yellow – again for a WIP website!

‘Websites’ and the colour ‘yellow’ seem to be the theme for the week!

I’ll be sure to share both new websites once they’re up and running.
